Description
Chabichou (also known as Chabichou du Poitou) is a traditional semi-soft, unpasteurised, natural-rind French goat cheese with a firm and creamy texture and a fine, mild goaty smell.
The cheese dates back to the late 8th Century after the battle of Poitiers. It is made exclusively in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region of South West France and has protected AOC status. |
