Perl Las


A soft blue cheese from the Cenarth dairy in Wales. It has a rich creaminess which is balanced by a sharp, strong blue.


Perl Las is a superb blue cheese, golden in colour, with a creamy, gently salty taste that grows stronger with maturity. This blue veined cheese differs from most bold British blues. First a rich creaminess followed by a short saltiness then the blue tones with a delicate lingering flavour.

Both Perl Las and Perl Wen are made at Caws Cenarth dairy at Fferm Glyneithinog, in South West Wales. They use Organic milk sourced from within 30 miles of the dairy.
