Provolone Piccante cheese is made in Southern Italy using pasteurised cow's milk. Originating in the 19th century, this aged, semi-hard cheese features a firm, granular texture with a sharp, tangy flavour and a robust, slightly spicy aroma. It holds PDO (Protected Designation of Origin) status.
